Rock Creek Concerns... |
In March 2008, the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District purchased 33 acres of property off SE 162nd Avenue in Happy Valley. Some of the uses suggested for the property include athletic fields, trails, play areas, skate park, dog park and community center. Currently, NCPRD is conducting public outreach to develop a concept plan for the site. more

A Vision for 172nd & Sunnyside
With the blessing of Rock Creek CPO members, I present a vision for the corner of 172nd Avenue and Sunnyside Road.
Happy Valley is currently reviewing a proposed increase to their maximum commercial building size limit from the existing 60,000 square feet to 150,000 square feet. This change was requested by Gramor Development to build a Kroger's Fred Meyer at the northwest corner of 172nd Ave and Sunnyside.
This presentation presents a challenge to think bigger... to create a vision for making Happy Valley unique and interesting along 172nd. - George Allen
